Adding youtube video

Also make sure that you have added required MIME Types on hosting control panel to work the Video File.

Provide some more information.

What version of WordPress are you using?

Did you drop the embed code into the HTML editing mode?

Can you provide a link to the post with the broken video?

Im using WordPress MU. But, I was told I dont need a plug-in for playing videos.

MU has some settings that disallow embedding code for security reasons

You have to edit the kses.php file

Open the kses.php file in your wp-includes folder.

Find this line of code

add_filter(’content_save_pre’, ‘wp_filter_post_kses’);

just add // in front

//add_filter(’content_save_pre’, ‘wp_filter_post_kses’);

You could also use this plugin so you don’t have to touch core WP files
