    Hi,

    I am having trouble with www version i.e. https://www.mydomain.com of my site for past one week. It used to work fine till last week. Both https://mydomain.com and https://www.mydomain.com worked.
    All of a sudden last week, the www version is resolved but it throws open a download window offering to download file named download.gz. When I download the file and open it, I see the following warning in the text file I downloaded –

    <br />
    <b>Warning</b>: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, function 'return false;' not found or invalid function name in <b>/home/pytiwari/public_html/rbtvidyalaya.edu.in/wp-includes/plugin.php</b> on line <b>235</b><br />

    However, if I simply try https://mydomain.com, everything works fine. I am not sure why adding www which is nothing but redirected to mydomain.com gives problem when actually if I directly try mydomain.com, I see no warning.

    Just to inform, I have added www as CNAME in cpanel of my shared hosting and not doing it by htaccess.

    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  • Can you replicate the problem using the default Twenty Fifteen theme with all plugins deactivated?

    @esmi,

    thanks for the reply and extremely sorry for delayed response from my side. I just didn’t realise that my query was answered.
    Anyways, I deactivated all the plugins and changed to default theme and problem didn’t replicate. So, I started undoing the changes (plugin and theme) one by one and this time when everything was back to my original settings, surprisingly I did not face the problem. I am not sure what did the trick here as I am no expert but it any case solved my problem.

    Thanks a ton.
