Adding VAT Number to excisting order

If you want to add a VAT number to an order, you can edit the billing address and enter the number there. However, it would be a good idea to consult your tax advisor before doing that. Invoices are meant to be “written in stone”, and should not be altered once they have been created.

Please also keep in mind that some PDF invoicing plugins generate the invoices only once, and they don’t recreate them if the order details have changed. In that case, the authors of the invoicing plugin would be able to tell you how you can “refresh” the invoice after adding the VAT number.
