• I have a network of about 80 sites we launched over the weekend and I am working on adding each indivdual user to their website as an admin.

So far, I have not been able to successfully add one person. I can add them as a user in the network, but when I add them as a user on their website, the email never gets delivered to them.

I’m seeing this message though: Invitation email sent to user. A confirmation link must be clicked for them to be added to your site.

Any ideas why they would not get the email to activate their admin account?

    Thanks.

  • Are any emails coming from your site? By default, I believe, the network admin will get an email when a new site is created. Do these get delivered?

All the sites have already been created and now I’m just trying to add one user to each site as an admin. Emails are coming on a network level if I add a user but not from specific websites. If needed, our main site is benchmark.us and each site in the network is theirname.benchmark.us.

It uses the exact same mail process.

Them not receiving the email is different than the emails not being sent.

What process are you using to add them? By this I mean which menu are you visiting?

Make a fake ID for yourself (with an email you know works) and try that?

Though … what email are they supposed to get when they join a site? I mean, you’re taking registered users and adding them to a site. I didn’t know that sent another email.

I don;t think it does either.
