Adding users to a list via csv upload

    Hi, I’ve uploaded some new subscribers to my list via CSV import. They are marked as ‘subscribed’ and were added to my newsletter list. However, they didn’t go through the automation to welcome new subscribers. Do automations not work when uploading via CSV?

    The automation is set to be triggered when new subscribers are added to the newsletter list. Is there a way to manually trigger the automation so that they receive my welcome email?

    Bulk-adding subscribers to your list via CSV Import will not trigger the Automation.

    Automations are triggered when a specific user action (e.g signing up for your newsletter and confirming their email address) is been noticed.

    To send an email to the subscribers which you imported into Mailpoet, I’d recommend that you Create a Standard Newsletter with your Welcome Email and send it to them instead.
