Adding user with emailadress like [email protected] is not allowed

    I guess the email validation logic only accepts [email protected]? Surely someone else must have encountered this before. What about english domains like co.uk for instance?

    Can’t find any info on the validation so posting this hoping someone might now a workaround or someone from wp dev can fix this in core.
