• I’ve tried to customize the Subscribe2 email notification template to add information for my subscribers. I’ve added a URL informing them how to unsubscribe & URLs telling them how to subscribe to my blog via Feedblitz.

I notice that adding URL’s to the template has caused weirdness within the actual e mail msg. in that some parts of it disappear. For example, in the template below, the MYNAME & EMAIL “message substitutions” do not display in the email msg.

Is it possible that the template is not meant to have URLs within it? Is there any way to use URL’s properly so they don’t affect the rest of the content of the notifcation msg.?

    Here’s my current template:

BLOGNAME has posted a new item, ‘TITLE’
    POST

You received this e-mail because you asked to be notified when new updates are posted.

If you wish to unsubscribe, please click on this link:
    https://www.richardsilverstein.com/tikun_olam/subscribe2-form/
It will take you to my subscription page where you should highlight the unsubscribe button.

I apologize if you ever receive more than one copy of this notice. The plugin is slightly buggy. An alternative that guarantees a single daily e-mail notice is Feedblitz:
https://www.feedblitz.com/subscribing.htm . After registering at the site and logging in, you may add a subscription to this blog by entering my blog url:
https://www.richardsilverstein.com/tikun_olam/ and following the directions to subscribe.

    Best regards,
    MYNAME
    EMAIL
