Adding to taxonomies

  • Hello,

    I am trying to implement a front end editor for a custom post type that has a few taxonomies. I have a single text field that populates a taxonomy but when you add a taxonomy in, it overwrites the taxonomies that are already there. I need it to be able to add the new taxonomy on top of the existing ones. Multi select gets close but you cannot add in a taxonomy that doesn’t exist in the system yet.

  • Are you using the plugin in conjunction Gravity Forms Custom Post Types

    Funnily I just installed this whilst using Custom Post Types and annoyingly every custom field and even the multi select taxonomy field pulled in all the correct values, but on my single line text save to taxonomy field, it didn’t pull in existing terms, how ever when I saved it did infact do the opposite of your problem, it added all the new terms to my post on top of existing terms.
