Adding thumbnails in category page using custom field

  • Hello all

    I promised I searched for 2 days before posting this. I know the subject has been approached many times but I’m still having difficulties.

    I am using the theme twentyten. I’d like to display thumbnails in front of each post in my category pages.

    I am using the custom field “thumbnail” to include thumbs in related posts already and it is working great. However I still cannot figure out what piece of code I should paste in which template to have the thumbnails displayed in my category pages.

    Any help would be appreciated

    i didn’t get wheres the thumbnail option?
    even i want to add thumbnails in front of each post in my category pages.
    i added custom field and name it to thumbnail..and it was asking about value?

    what to do for applying thumbnail?
