Adding the Nextgen Tags automatically to Publ?ishes post?

    Hello everyone,

    I just want to explain how my situation is.
    Iam uploading multiple images in certain albums. after that i add the tags to the images and then publish those pictures.

    The problem is, i have to edit every single picture post to add the same tags in the post itself. thats ridicioulous if you uploaded about 50 pictures or more.

    Is it possible to automatically add the NGG tags to the published post? or do you have any idea how i could solve my time eating problem? x)

    Additionally: is it possible to publish all the pictures with one click instead of clicking “publish” under each picture?

    @dj4ngo – If the images already have the “tags” in their meta data then it should be uploading and added in NextGEN Gallery as is.

    As to having to publish each image specifically, I am not understanding what you are describing as that is not a necessity. You simply should be able to choose the gallery or galleries in the IGW when you insert the display into the page.

    Hmm iam publishing each picture in a post yes.
    And what i want is, that the published pages tags uses automatically the tags/meta data from the image.

    If i publish a image on a page, the tags are always emtpy by default.

    The pictures and galleries are published, they work perfectly. Its just about the tags.

    @dj4ngo – There is no method for NextGEN Gallery to automatically create and/or add tags to a specific post when you insert an image into the post … is this what you are looking to NextGEN Gallery to do automatically?

    Yes that is what i meant, Ok if there is no WOrkaround, i guess i have to think for a different solution.

    For example: is it possible to search for the ngg tags in the wordpress website search?

    @dj4ngo – They are not indexed by the WordPress search to the best of my knowledge so I would have to say that direction may not work for you as well.
