Adding the ability for single downloads.

    Hello and good day.

    Currently I have my site set up as yearly Membership site where members are set to level 1. I would like to add the option for visitors to be able to purchase single files as well.

    The only problem is that s2member does not have a way to track single downloads in order for me to track customer downloads for verification.

    – Will I have to change all my yearly membership to a higher level if I use your plugin?

    – Is there a way I can tie your plugin to s2member so I can track single downloads from the current links instead of going to the file browser?

    S2member is so powerful that I think there is always a way to achieve any task. But you have to code a little bit…

    For your first question, the answer is Yes. The plugin can handle any level

    For you second question, given that all downloads are tracked in the database, you can achieve this feature. I need more information ?
    1. Do you want a new feature or do you want explanations about database structure ,… ?
    2. Do you want your users to download only one time a file ?

    Hello Potsky and good morning.

    First thank you for your hard work. Your plugin is beautiful and has been very helpful.

    I think I answered my own question, I am looking at the Current s2member Accounting tab inside of your plugin’s dashboard and it seems to show me all the downloads made by members. So if this is correct than I can keep track of who made a single download and offer the support they need.

    S2member did not have any way of keeping track of who download what until now. ??

    So my question now is if I add a new membership level for single purchase downloads will I have to make that level number lower then my current yearly membership level number?

    Level 2 is higher than level 1, so level 2 members can download files from the level1 and level2 directories

    Level 3 is higher than level 2 and 1, so level 3 members can download files from the level1 and level2 and level3 directories

    And so on…
