Adding text to formula total field

I have been trying for weeks to add currency to total field of the calculator. There is a radio option that switches between US and XCD. What I’d like is that when it is on US, in Total description US$… is shown and when XCD is chosen, XCD$… is done. So basically a currency converter. I already have the formula and it works fine but I would like to either add text to the formula field or possibly have javascript code to do that or maybe even some PHP addition I can make to the cost-total.php file. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I regret to inform you that there is no option to add text to the Formula field.
Alternatively, I would like to offer you creating the HTML field with the required text > hide it by default > create codintions to display the text
