Adding text on category page

  • I have a page ([ redundant link removed ]) where I make posts. The only way I could make posts (as far as I know) is to create a category (like ‘writing’), add that category to the Menu, create posts and assign a category to it.

    What I’d like to do is add a few lines at the top of the category page (like under the “Category: Writing” header). Is there a way to do that?

    try this: edit your Writing category and put text in the DESCRIPTION area in the Writing category of your WordPress dashboard – for twenty twenty one theme to add some text to display under the category title of the category archive page.
