I wanted to group my listings within a number of created price ranges so that I can display them on a page and also have them searchable by these ranges in the Search Widget.
To do this, I created a new taxonomy ID price-range with singular Price Range and plural Price Ranges.
I then went into the Price Ranges menu item on my left sidebar and created several unique ranges (ie: up to $500,000..500,000-700,000..700,000-900,000…900,000-1,500,000…and 1,500,000 and over)
These now show up when I enter a new listing or edit and existing one.
My only issue is that the search widget doesn’t give me an option to include this new custom taxonomy as one of the searchable options. I want the search box to include a Price Range option with each of these ranges selectable.
How can I go about doing this?
