Adding subdomain with custom/new formatting

    Hi,

    I’m just started to learn web designing and I’m quite a newbie in web development

    Anyway, I have a website made from wordpress and I made a subdomain – like subdomain.mysite.net; but I don’t know how to set the landing page on this subdomain. I have the neccessary html/css files for a website. So, what’s the next step?

    Should I just put the files in the subdomain folder? How will it know what particular page is the index?

    The idea is to create an another whole different looking site with a database while using the same domain (my website) hence, subdomain.

    Any help would be appreciated!
