• Hi Folks

I’ve recently taken over the maintenance of a WordPress site. So far I’ve managed to do everything asked of me. I don’t have much knowledge of WordPress, but I have worked with Joomla for a few years.

The site I’ve taken over has two options in the Admin side, one is ‘PayPal’ (which I’ve configured for the client) and the other is ‘Store’.

I’ve checked the store and there are no existing items. I have created a new test item, added some pricing and shipping info, size options, added an image, etc., and this previews fine. For instance this example URL:
    https://www.sitename.com/item/testitem

My question is … how do I get these ‘items’ that are listed in the ‘Store’ area of the backend to actually appear on a page?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Many Thanks!

  • That link will go nowhere, since you didn’t include the proper URL to the page. Highly doubt the name of your site is sitename.com

Thanks for the reply. I actually said ‘For instance this example URL’. This wasn’t supposed to be a link to my site, just an example of a URL of an added store item.

Creating the items and viewing them (on a real URL!!) is not the problem. It’s how to then place these items onto a page.

    Thanks again.
