• Hey,

Here is my site: https://www.thenoise-music.com I am using a Twenty Fourteen child theme.

Its not complete, but something that has been driving me crazy is that I have been trying to add the social media icons (on the bottom in the footer widget area) to the left of the main nav (opposite the search button). I would like it to be along the left side and for the menu to still follow the user when they scroll down the page.

I tried creating a text widget and copying, then pasting the code into the html of the header.php. It put the social icons above the menu and then did not allow the menu to follow the user when they scrolled.

Im not a wizard with CSS or HTML. How should I go about doing this?

    Thanks!!

I just downloaded the Twenty-Fourteen-Extended plugin. I love it except for the fact that it over-rided my CSS and pushed my menu to the left. I would like it to be…

    Social Media…………………………..Main Nav……………………Search

    Sorry to be redundant!

I think it would make more sense for the menu to be the first thing a user sees vs the social media icons?

Fair point. Follow up question then, is how to I put the social media icons to the right of the header but just to the left of the search icon?
