Adding social media links to the social icons on the top bar

Hi there, in reagrds to the top bar, how do I add a link to the social icon? So that the reader can click on the icon and the link will lead the reader to my social media profile? I know I can put a # , so the social icon will show up in the top bar. But how do I add a link to my social media account? Thanks for your help!
