Adding Social Buttons to blog posts

Hi
I’ve not played about with wordpress that much. I’m helping someone out. I have wordpress set up with the theme Twenty seventeen and was looking to add social share buttons to posts.
I’ve installed Share buttons by addthis and turned on the buttons below the posts but they don’t appear, they are on in the individual blog posts.

Can any one help?
