    Hello Ben,
I want to add a slider to my home page. Although it is possible to use meta slider with the static home page, I prefer to use slider with latest posts front page.Because that format is my favourite feature in this theme and what makes it unique:)
In support forum I saw that site: https://thecomeupmag.co.uk/
This is what I try to do. Should I create a custom page template to manage it?, or other solutions?
I hope you can help me with it.
    Thanks in advance:)

Sure, to copy their slider position, you would want to edit the header.php file.

The first step is to copy that into your child theme, so that the child theme’s version of header.php is loaded. I’m pretty sure meta slider has a PHP function you can use to output any slider. You would want to include that near the bottom of the header.php file (it depends exactly where you want to show it). Then the slider would show at the top of all your pages.

    You’re welcome ??

    Hi Ben!

I added a slider using the steps you gave above and it worked but now I’m seeing the slider on all pages as you said. I just want it to show on my homepage and nowhere else. Is there anything that can be done to stop it from showing up everywhere else?

UPDATE: AHHHH I FOUND IT! ??
If anyone else happens to want to know how to do it the link below will help ??

Thanks for sharing! That’s a pretty cool shortcode.
