adding slider plugin

I’m having trouble trying to insert a plugin to use in place of the default slider. I want to add something like Royal Slider for additional functionality like animated layers, I’m just experimenting now with a free one but it doesn’t display properly.

In the FullPage, only the slider in the top section works, the others show the first image of the slider only, but no navigation controls and slider doesn’t work. In the sections themselves, the sliders all work properly, it’s only on FullPage view that they do not.

Just wondering if it’s something simple I’ve overlooked, or if FullPage is incompatible with a WP slider plugin like this.
