I added the site to Wordfence Central with the free license. However, in the Resolve column, there is a link to Complete Setup that keeps sending me to my site Wordfence dashboard with two options – to go back to Wordfence Central or to Disconnect the site. I added other sites to Wordfence Central without any problems and never ran into this. Any ideas?

Hi @berams, thanks for getting in touch!

Are the other sites you connected the exact same set of plugins or does anything stand out on the site that stays in the “Connection Issues” tab of Central? One notable thing might be a plugin to change the admin URL, although the “Complete Setup” link taking you directly to your dashboard doesn’t necessarily sound like that’s the case.

Sometimes issues like this can be resolved by connecting from the site to Central, rather than the other way around. Disconnect the site by clearing it from the “Connection Issues” tab, head over to your site, and log in as an admin. Navigate to Tools > Diagnostics > Other Tests > Clear all Wordfence Central connection data. Clear the connection data and then from the Wordfence Dashboard, click on “Connect this site” in the Wordfence Central widget.

If nothing above seems to point to the cause, or you continue to have the same problem after a reconnect/disconnect, let us know as it may be beneficial to check the diagnostics for connectivity or permissions issues.

    Thanks,
    Peter.
