Adding sign up check box to custom form

  • Hello!

    I am having an issue when adding a sign up check box to a custom form. The form was built for a booking form using “booking calendar” plugin. I use the HTML coding from your website:

    <label>
    <input type=”checkbox” name=”mc4wp-subscribe” value=”1″ />
    Sign-up to our newsletter.
    </label>

    What am I doing wrong because when it is checked off it does not sync with the subscription list created through mail chimp?

  • When working with form plugins, it’s not usually as simple as adding some HTML, you will also need to figure out how the plugin is processing the form before sending to mail chimp.

    Sorry I can’t be of more help ( code examples, etc.. ) but I hope this points you in the right direction.
