    Hi there,

I have installed the plugin and have had success with the email address on all pages of my site except the Contact page. I thought this was because the email address was in the contact form however when checking the ‘response’ from the scanner it is referring to the email address in the body text. The odd thing is it looks as though this is pulling the email address from an old version of the text. I have recently changed the text but the response is looking at the old version (it included the word ‘or’ which I have recently removed). Can anyone shed any light on this?

I was originally going to ask for help with adding the shortcode, as I thought it was a problem with where the email address was, but then spotted this oddity.

    Any help much appreciated.

It looks like your using a cache or HTML optimizer. Make sure you flush all of those each time you make a change.

    Thank you for replying.
I thought it might be a caching thing so I had cleared the cache for Beaver Builder, however I have now also cleared the cache for autoptimize and I have installed WP Super Cache. Unfortunately, it’s still not showing the correct text….

Sorted it. The email address was in the meta-description. Is there anyway to utilise the encoder for addresses in the meta?

Ah yes, I’ve seen that but wasn’t sure where to add the code or which code to use for that matter.

In that case, you want to either hire a developer to assist you or get the premium version that handles all of that for you.

Yes, hopefully, one of those will be an option soon.
