    Hello all,
how can i add checkboxes to products grid and shop pages as you can see in the link attached?

I have tried searching and using some plug-ins with no success, most of the solutions availbale add checkboxes only to the product page while you must open it but not to other possible places like the shop page or grid view of all products next to each other.

Though, as you can see in the attached link, it is possible (this is not my website but one as an example).

    My Website: https://veg-store.forcognito.co.il/ (In Hebrew)

Any help would be much appreciated!

    Thanks!

  • Hi there,

That site appears to be using custom code to create those radio buttons. You can use an extension like Measurement Price Calculator enable selling by weight, and then set up product variations to choose to sell by weight or quantity, put you may need another plugin to add that capability.

If you search plugins for “variations shop page” there are some solutions there that may help.

Thank you for the detailed reply!

If anyone else is interested, i did find a possible solution but for some reason the snippet doesn’t work on my website, could be something wrong that i’m doing or it doesn’t fit the current WC version or theme.

This is the link to the snippet: Long URL

I’d be happy if someone can help me with a solution, i have searched more then 20 times, plugins and posts with no success. i think there is a lot of damanad for such option since it helps with simplifying the purchase process a lot.

Another question please, how can i set the system to show a selection of 0.5 Kilo-gram weight unites?

    Hi digymon,

I was able to setup that code on a test site with the latest version of WooCommerce. Screenshot.

You’ll want to make sure you have the full block of code included at the bottom of the page on that site (The one marked “The full block of code then looks like this:”).

The CSS will help style, but it’s that PHP code block that makes the main change.

If that’s still not working, you may want to try it with all the plugins except WooCommerce and Code Snippets deactivated, and with a default theme like Storefront set. That will make sure that it’s not another plugin that’s causing the issue.

As far the showing a selection of 0.5 kg weights, that’s actually what the Measurement Price Calculator is designed to do ??

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
