Adding search bar to Responsive nav menu

First off I’m new to css.

I’m using the Responsive theme. My site is https://www.repaircreditcanada.net

I’m trying to add a dark coloured search bar on my navigation menu to the right hand side. I’ve tried adding things to functions.php, header.php and css…If anyone could figure it out that would be awesome!
