    Hi there!

Not too sure if this is the right place to ask but I am in the midst of upgrading my website’s live chat support and they do not have a plugin for it. I will need to copy some scripts and paste it into the HTML source code on every page that the live chat support is to be displayed (homepage, products page, shopping cart page, checkout page, custom pages which I have created).

I am not familiar with this hence may I know how do I go about doing it? Do I add it in the functions.php or where can I find those pages in the FTP files.

    Thank you ??

  • Hello @cheapndeal1,

Sincere apologies for the extremely long wait, we have been a bit shorthanded and on the other hand overwhelmed with work during this covid situation.

One solution would be to use a child theme (https://docs.oceanwp.org/article/90-sample-child-theme), copy the files you want to change into the child theme’s folder and then edit.

The other solution would be to use a plugin like Woody (available in WordPress repository) to insert your codes.

Hope this helps. Best of luck with your website
