adding scripts gives 404 error on new installion

    I just installed the plugin. Adding even the date php scrips gives 404 error when I try to save. Cant figure out what i am doing wrong. WP version WordPress 5.9.3

    Settings I have used
    Auto insert PHP opening tags – enabled
    Enabling automatic exception handling for PHP snippets – enabled (done for testing)
    Used script – echo date(“l jS \of F Y h:i:s A”) . “<br>”;

    Things already tried
    – Disable and Enable plugin
    – Disabled exception handling
