    Hi,

We’ve created two membership plans, which you can view here: Membership Pricing. These memberships are set up using WooCommerce’s “Add to Cart” feature and redirect to the Paid Memberships Pro checkout page.

    The two plans are:

    1. Employer Membership: £6.99/year
    2. Lifetime Membership: £17.99/one-time fee

However, we’re encountering an issue where the second membership plan (Lifetime Membership) is not being added to the checkout. Instead, the first plan (Employer Membership) is always displayed at checkout.

For testing purposes, please visit the link provided and try adding the Lifetime Membership to your cart. You’ll notice that despite the correct setup in the backend, the checkout page consistently shows the Employer Membership.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi there, thank you for reaching out to the Paid Memberships Pro team.

I’ve selected the second level from your Membership Levels page however once redirected to the Membership Checkout page (https://www.hostelgigs.com/membership-checkout/) the ?pmpro_level=X parameter is not present in the URL.

This parameter is required to ensure that the checkout page can determine which level you want to checkout with.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your response.

We attempted to add a parameter at the end of the checkout URL: https://www.hostelgigs.com/membership-checkout/?pmpro_level=8. However, it redirects to the homepage if the user is not logged in. Is there a way to create a direct link for the button so that new visitors can start the registration process for a specific membership level?

Currently, the buttons on our “Pricing” page are dynamically linked to WooCommerce field set to “Add to Basket.” We’re open to removing the WooCommerce process from these buttons and replacing it with direct links that initiate the registration process for a specific membership.

    Please advise.

    Thank you!

You can replace the shortcode used on https://www.hostelgigs.com/pricing/ with the [pmpro_levels] shortcode and that will display the levels available and include the correct URL parameter so that the correct membership level is chosen.

This will result in a direct connection between your pricing page and PMPro. You can also explore our Advanced Levels Shortcode Add On (https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/add-ons/pmpro-advanced-levels-shortcode/) which you can use to show a pricing table similar to what you have now.

I’ve visited https://www.hostelgigs.com/membership-checkout/?pmpro_level=5 and there’s no redirect on my side (as a guest visitor). Please try clearing your cache or visiting the page in a different browser and let me know if the issue persists.
