Adding recent post slideshow and other

  • Hi all,
    I want to know how to add recent post slideshow on the landing page of a website like as it is on skotgat.com.
    Also, I would like to know how to add the widget(or anything) as it is on the sidebar of the same website as it is switchable between latest, popular and comments. Also, i would love to know how to add the don’t miss bar as present on top of this website and how social buttons and search has been equipped with this bar. And how to insert the latest news category in the second bar (The one just below the advertisement).
    I just love the design of this website.
