Adding product category to page: does not work

We don’t have any block called “Product Categories”. The block you are talking about might be coming from WordPress Core to create a taxonomy cloud or might still be in beta. You can find all the available WooCommerce default block lists here: https://woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-blocks/

However, the team is already aware of the grid product layout block: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/45269

At the time being, we can’t give you an estimate for when the team will look into or fix the issue, as bug/enhancement reports are prioritized based on a few criteria. Please subscribe to the GitHub issue if you’d like to receive updates.

In the meantime, feel free to use the “Product Category List” block to show your category on a page.

However, if you’d like to show the category in a grid layout, consider using an additional plugin, such as Essential Blocks or ProductX. These plugins offer a category grid layout, which might be just what you need.
