Hi! We’re super new to the whole idea of product feeds, and have been creating one completely manually up to now.

We have the elite version of the plugin, and are really excited about the functionality (goodbye manual input!), but as most of our products are preorders, there are two key feed inputs that I’m not quite sure how to set up:

    availability: preorder
    availability_date

We have a preorder plugin that allows us to set an estimated date, but I’m not sure if there’s a way to set up a rule so that this can be added to the feed?

Thanks for any help you can give.

  • Hi Yokaiju,

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.

Now I am going to assume the availability status and availability_date has been filled in for all your individual products on your product edit page? The preorder plugin, most likely (hopefully) created WooCommerce attributes where these values are being saved in. When they did it the proper way those attributes should be available in the drop-downs on the field mapping page.

So, when on the field mapping page of your feed configuration you hit the orange “+ Add field mapping” button and select availability_date in the right drop-down like this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/3c0tcluurdv95yk/Availability_date.png?dl=0
Search closely in the right drop-down for the correct attribute name added by your preorder plugin, most likely it contains something like availability date.

For the availability field you don’t have to hit the orange button as the Availability field is already there. By default is mapped to the availability attribute but in your case this is not the correct attribute. You again have to go through the right drop-down looking for the availability drop-down that was added by your preorder plugin.

    Hope this helps?
