Adding polls to posts

    Hi there – Will it be possible in a future version of the plugin to add polls to posts within topics or will it be restricted to topics only?

    Plugin looks great ??

    Hi,

    I don’t see that happening, because of two major problems:

    1. The topic is starting a conversation, and poll is added as a helping tool for this conversation. With replies, users are talking about the topic and the poll, so I don’t see what kind of meaningful talk can be done within one topic if each reply has own poll.

    2. If the replies can be made to have polls, how would you display that in a meaningful way? Where will the polls be displayed? Replies have limited space to work with, and there is no way to make it look good.

    For now, I don’t plan to make changes for adding polls in any other way.

    That’s reasonable. The idea behind polls on specific posts (especially sticky posts) would be useful to guage opinions on said post.

    If that is not feasible, that is totally fine. General topic polls can work also.
