    Hey @steur

The Text and Visual Editor widget should handle the shortcode in the same way. In cases like this it’s hard to see what’s up without viewing the page itself. Any chance you can post a link? If you’d like to make the link private try using Bitly. Once we’re done you can turn off the redirect.

    Thanks ??

    Hi Misplon

I’m a real newbie and I’m experimenting with wordpress on a localhost, so I can’t give a link. But I’ve managed to figure it out.

Apparently the text widget and visual editor don’t handle the shortcode the same. When I used the visual editor widget, then there was some white space on top and under the parallax picture. When I use a text widget, there is no white space, as it should be.

I don’t know if I do something wrong with the visual editor, because you say that they normally should handle the shortcode in the same way, but at least it works with the text widget.

Thanks for sharing that. Visual Editor widget might have been inserting a paragraph. Glad to hear you were able to resolve ?? Nicely done.

I’m having this problem too – whether I paste the short code in the visual tab or the text tab. Any further suggestions?

    Andy
