    Hi Guys

I am looking to find out if it is possible to include other custom roles that may duplicate posts… From the plugin I notice that it only allows the standard wordpress roles. I have created custom roles on my site with copies of the capabilities of editor but they don’t reflect as a choice in the plugin.

Thank you for the great plugin

    Regards
    Stephen

    Hi @swall73,
the plugin’s settings should list all the roles having edit_posts capability for at least one of the enabled post types. Can you check whether your custom roles have that capability?
If you are managing the capabilities of your custom roles with another plugin, or with custom code, please note that you can add them the copy_posts capability to enable the plugin for them even without using the setting’s page. This could an alternative way to enable the plugin for those roles right when e.g. they are created.
    I hope this helps!

    Hi Enrico

Thank you for the email. Is it possible to “clone” the post to a different custom post type when clicking the “clone” button. The idea being that if they click the clone button the copy of the post is allocated another custom post type and not the same one as the clone

    Thanks again

    Hi @swall73

By default, when you use the ‘clone’ feature, it should just create a copy of that post or page (with draft status) and as the same post type. You might want to check our developer documentation to see if it’s possible to modify the output to have it cloned to a different post type.
