    Hello,

When I try to add an order note manually for the customer, it takes around 8 to 10 seconds to submit. Private notes are submitted very quickly but notes to customers take a long time.

Not sure if related but quick editing a product at backend is also very slow. Usually I use Quick edit to update stock or price. And just like order notes, it loads for 8 to 10 seconds before submitting.

I am using latest wordpress and woocommerce and use Cloudways hosting. I discussed same thing with them and they are clueless. I even used a staging website where I disabled all plugins and used default theme but the issue persists.

    Hi @mayank29gupta ,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that you are experiencing a slow load when manually adding order notes, as well as when doing a “quick edit” for a product, is this correct?

Since you have already ruled out the possibility of plugins or themes causing the issue on the staging website, it’s possible that the issue is related to your server configuration.

As a first step, I’d suggest purging caches and seeing if this makes any difference.

Also, please can you check that all the WooCommerce Server Recommendations, as well as the WordPress requirements are met?

Additionally, please can you work through the below support articles and see if this makes any difference:

If the issue persists, I’d suggest checking the server-side logs for any error or warning messages that could provide more information on the cause of the issue.

We’d be happy to take a look at your System Status Report to see if we are able to identify anything that may be contributing to this issue.

You can share a copy of your sites System Status Report by navigating to WooCommerce → Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support.

    Cheers!

    Hello @roxannestoltz

Thanks for taking time out to reply. I really appreciate it. I took your advice and managed to pin point the problem. Issue was caused by caching plugin Breeze (cloudways own plugin).

Some of its features were not functioning on staging website which is why I could not identify it as issue. Disabling it on live website fixed the issue. After that I reached out Cloudways and they managed to tweak settings of plugin and now overall my website has significantly improved at backend.

Once again thanks for the help
