Adding new products not found in POS

Hi, I am in final phase of testing and about to purchase the premium version of the POS. Today I added a simple product and a variable one through Woocommerce, set the stock levels to 50 of the simple products and 10 each of the variants and published, pretty standard stuff. I went to the POS and did a search of both products and it tells me no products found. Is there anything I need to do to get the POS to synchronize, I thought it would do this automatically.
