    Hi,

Under Product -> Attributes I have set the order as Default sort order and rearranged the terms as per my requirement

    e.g. Size = Xtra-Small, Small, Medium, Large, Xtra-Large, Double Xtra-Large, Triple Xtra-Large

When I add a new Product, under attributes, when I select terms, I find that they are listed in alphabetical order

Is there some setting by which I can get the terms in the SAME order as set by me and NOT in alphabetical order?

    Thanks

Hi @koolpal. What is the default sort order that you have selected?

Is this screenshot from the front end of your site for a variable product? If so, in what order is the values for the attribute when you’re editing the product?

@drwpcom Thank you for replying. I had given up hope that anyone would!

The default sort order is Custom ordering

When I click on Configure terms you will see the order I have set

The below screenshot (shared earlier) is from the back-end when I am editing the product

Please let me know in case you require any additional information.

    Thanks

P.S. For some weird reason imgur images are not embedding in the www.remarpro.com forum topic now.

Hi @koolpal. I’m not able to replicate this issue on my test site. I’ve done custom ordering of the terms and this is what I see when adding the attribute to a product:

I’m running the latest version of WooCommerce. Please share your system report with me. You can find it by going to WooCommerce > Status > Get system report and then click Copy for support to be able to paste it in your reply.

Or if you prefer, you can try conflict testing straightaway, using this guide – https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/

@drwpcom Please check with a Variable product.

P.S. Can you please guide what image sharing service are you using to embed the screenshot? And what is the link format being used? Thanks

Hi @koolpal. It’s the same for me with a variable product:

This is how I set up the global attribute:

To share screenshots, I am using the Droplr service. To embed, use <img src="linktoimage.ext">. For Droplr for example, you need to add a + at the end of the link. This is the code for the second embed: <img src="https://d.pr/i/8SCCw4+">.

@drwpcom Thank you for BOTH your replies.

It looks like some plugin conflict!

I will drop this for now as this is NOT a show stopper.

Thanks again for informing me about Droplr service. It would be helpful for future support topics.

It’s a pity that imgur seems to have stopped working on these forums now

    Take care, stay safe!
