Adding new plugin option not available

    Hey everyone,

    I’m trying to install this plugin but when I go to plugins in WordPress I don’t see the option to add a new plugin. Am I doing something wrong here?
    If I look for documentation online it always seems like that should be available

    Are you using WordPress.com? If you are, I don’t believe it allows plugins at certain levels. https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/self-hosted-wordpress-org-vs-free-wordpress-com-infograph/

    The other option is a permissions issue. If you’re not an administrator role you may not have the ability to add plugins.

    Thanks a lot for your answer. We are using .org and I am also an administrator so I don’t understand why it is not available.

    That is odd. It may be you’re on a multisite network and only Network Admins can add plugins in that case.

    Installing plugins in WordPress is outside the scope of what I can provide support for in this forum. I’d reach out to your host or whomever setup the site to see if they can give your information on why you can’t install plugins.
