    Hi there,

I am wanting to add a new page to my blog with my contact information. I want the page title to be centered and bold at the top of the page and I want a reasonable amount of space between the page title and the contact information. However, when I create this new page, the information that I put in shows up like a post:

    Contact Information October 8th, 2007

    Sandra Winter
    555-555-5555
    [email protected]

….and it even has a comment section at the bottom! How can I get my contact page to just be a plain page without blog-like formatting?

Thanks for any help you can give on this.

    Sandra

  • are you doing a page or a post?

In either case it will use your established template.

You can do a custom bit of PHP to only affect that page, or you can use a different bit of css for that page only.

I think what you want might be is_page()

You can goto WordPress admin and goto,

Write > Page and make a page there,

from your above comment it looks as if you have created a Post in wordpress not a comment.

Thank you bestfoot and adeelshahid for your responses.
Just FYI, yes, I am going to Write > Page.
The problem is that the Page looks like a post.
Any ideas on how I can fix this?

is the page online, if it is then i would like to have a look at it.

    Hello Adeelshahid:

I have just uninstalled and reinstalled my theme and that seems to have taken care of the problem, although now my headers aren’t showing! I will make another post about that as a separate issue.

    Thank you, anyway.
