Adding new pages

It is possible in Pro version. Look at the “Settings page (part1)” slide at role-editor.com

There is “Activate Create page/post capability” option there. With this option active if author or editor role has no “create_post”, “create_page” capability included, then author or editor can not add new posts/pages.
