I am new to WordPress and Blogging. I installed WordPress through c-panel, and have installed a few plugins. I have not installed a theme yet. I am trying to add a couple of pages for my privacy, terms of service, contact info, etc. Everything I read about adding a new page says you have the option to add a page with HTML. When I click on Add New to get a new page the two tabs at the top left of the new page are View and Text. I do not have the option to enter HTML. How can I correct this?

I also have purchased a premade blog and installed it. It has the same problem.

Thanks in advance to all who offer assistance.
    Bob

I’m sorry, I should have said the two tabs at the top right of the new page are View and Text.

Is there any way to edit a post after posting it?

Today I did a Fantastico install of a test blog. I had the same problem with it. There is no HTML tab on the new page. Every thing I read about creating pages shows an HTML tab on the new page. Where is it coming from? Is there a special template I need or what?

Can anyone help me with this? I am not afraid to go in and bit fiddle to make things work, except I need credible guidance.

    Thank you,
    Bob

Upon further research I discovered the ckeditor plugin. I accomplished what I was looking for.
