Adding new link class in Weaver 2.0

I’m trying to use different text link properties in a footer widget than in the other widgets. Tried specifying a new link class (in advanced admin) and assigning it in a text widget with no success. Any idea how to make this work? Site is here, and the footer is positioned bottom right. Trying to make the text white for link, active, visited and hover. Thanks!
