Adding new items, press SAVE (disc icon) and does not appear.

  • Hello, I have the plugin version Version 1.4.1 and notice when adding new restaurant menu items and pressing SAVE (disc icon) the only thing that appears on your website is the title- the description and price do not show up. Everything only appears if you press the SAVE (disc icon) twice.

    Also, if I press SAVE (disc icon) and then the Update button, it still only shows the title on the website, nothing else.

    When I’m adding new menu items, I’m inserting text into the TITLE, DESCRIPTION, and PRICE fields.

    Thanks for your work on this plugin, it’s very nice!

    You need to insert the shortcode in another page to view the menu. Is that what you mean ?

    No, that is not my problem; the short-code to display the Menu is in the Frontend of my website. It’s what happens after you try to add a New Menu Item.

    Here are the steps I am taking:

    1. Menus > Add Menu
    2. Edit Menu > Menu Items > Press New Menu Item button.
    3. Enter information into your TITLE and DESCRIPTION fields.
    4. Press Add Price button and enter your PRICE.
    5. Press the SAVE (disc icon) to save, which closes green panel.
    6. Go to your live website, and only the TITLE will display- not the DESCRIPTION and PRICE.

    I did watch the video, and also updated to the latest version (1.4.2) and you still have to press the SAVE (disc icon) twice for everything to display properly.

    Yes, first click opens the item and second click close it and save ??
