• Hello All,

I would liek to remove the ‘Home’ and ‘About’ links below the main image and replace them with my own navbar. What is involved and how does one go about it?

    Thank you in advance!

    Sincerely,

    wordman

  • Hi, assuming you are using latest wordpress version and your theme supports it, there is a theme feature called Navigation menu. It Will appear in Admin -> Appearance -> Menus.

There you can customize your nav bar with custom links, pages or categories as you like.

You can read about it here

    obharath,

Yes, I came across that, except it isn’t going to work for me. I am using 3.0.4 with a child theme to twentyten.

Here’s why it won’t work for me:
The WP blog is only a small part of my site. I have been tailoring the blog to look like the rest of the site and in order to complete this task, I want to use MY navbars which are includes files used by the rest of my site. Can I place an includes call somewhere, say in header.php and footer.php to call to my includes files instead?

    Many thanks!

    Sincerely,
