Adding multiple images to a gallery

  • Hi there,

    I’m a photographer and want to set up multiple galleries for the different genre photos (eg. maternity, newborn, wedding etc).

    Do I have to add each picture individually to a post with a category and then use the menu option to form the gallery or can I just upload say 30 image in one genre and send them all at once to a gallery?

    Thanks in advance for your help.

    Also what would be the advantage of me upgrading to pro (which I’m happy to do)?

    In order for an image to be displayed in a gallery, you must create an “Image” post format with a featured image. Unfortunately, you cannot add images to the content section and have them all show up in one gallery. Any images added in the content section will appear in the actual single post.

    You were correct, you can tag each image post with a category, then add these to the menu itself.
