Adding menu-code?

can you please explain what is the dish-code? Does it come from outside or (from your prospective) should be generated inside WordPress?

Is it possible to add something like those numbered-lists. (1,2,3,4 etc)
I don’t mean a numbered list in this case, but a way to put something before
the menu-title.

Each menu item is a custom post, so it has an ID. There is a shortcode to output this ID: [menu_item_id]. Will it work for you?
