Adding members to plans, taking payment

Thank you for getting in touch and using Paid Memberships Pro.

You are able to add members one of two ways –

1. If the user exists in WordPress, simply edit the users profile in WordPress and assign the membership level and custom expiration date for that user.

2. You are able to download the Add Member Admin add-on which gives you more control over the users details and adding members – https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/add-ons/plus-add-ons/add-member-admin-add-on/

Please note that when adding members manually it will show as ‘Not Paying’ because the user won’t be linked to your payment gateway.

The main point would be to add members to the payment gateway- enter their CC details and plan so it’s like they signed up on the front-end, except the admin can do it on the backend. Would #2, or any other way, be able to do that?

I sincerely apologize for the delay @navyspitfire, unfortunately we are still developing this feature for the Add Member Admin Add-on and should be available in the near future.

So the member add-on plugin that is in beta, that is for paying customer only?

That is correct, it is a premium add-on for PMPro.

As a premium plus member you get more detailed support and access to all paid for add-ons.
