Adding media through the Media Library page doesn’t work (wp-admin/upload.php)

    I’m facing the same problem written in the issue #605 and got error message
    saying
    Unable to create directory wp-content/uploads/{year}/{date}. Is its parent directory writable by the server? .

    Uploading only works in wp-admin/media-new.php.

    Wondering if you guys have any fix around this or an updated version?
