• I am now having problems loading media (images) into my blogs. This has started with the WordPress update in late-March to mid-April. Whenever I click the “Add an Image” button in the Upload/Insert tool bar nothing happens. If I am in full-screen mode, the screen becomes translucent dark gray, and nothing else happens. Up until the WordPress update I was able to insert images without any difficulty. I have tried Firefox, IE, and Safari. Please help as I need to add an image to my post that has been waiting to publish since mid-April.

  • Have you tried some of the upload plugins ?
or set up FTP – and upload direct to your media folder.

I would also try Google Chrome and watch the lower left of your screen – you will get more info on your uploads –

    Have you tried:
    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

yup – what he said ^

Thanks so much for your help!! We discovered the problem. It was a plug-in called GrooveShark for WordPress. We are now grooving along just fine without that plug-in! Whew! Again, thanks for your fine help!
